Bing Search Tests Short Search Menu With Fewer Options
Microsoft Bing Search is testing showing fewer options in the search bar menu below the search box. We saw this with Bing Image search before and now we are seeing this with Bing web search.

Google View In 3D Product Results With QR Code To View On Mobile
The other day we reported that Google was showing 3D product images not just on mobile search but on desktop. Now, Google is testing showing a QR code that the searcher can scan with their mobile phone so they can quickly see the product in 3D, since that is hard to do on desktop devices.

Google Search Local Library Book Availability
Google Search can now show you both e-book and physical hardcover book availability at a library near you. In 2017, Google offered this feature for e-books but now it seems available for physical books as well, although, I am not sure how new this is.

Bing Chat Increased Limits, Added More Travel Visuals & Expanded Bing Image Creator
Bing Chat now can handle 30 chat turns per conversation, up from 20, and a total of 300 chats per day. Also, the travel results can be more visual and Bing Image Creator works in all chat modes, not just "creative."

Microsoft will bring Bing Chat to all browsers and not force you to use Microsoft Edge to use Bing Chat, in the near future. When exactly, we are not sure, but Bing's CEO, Mikhail Parakhin, has been saying that on Twitter for numerous weeks now.

Google Search Console Reporting Some Mobile Indexing As Desktop Indexing
Google has a bug in Google Search Console where it reported some sites being indexed using mobile indexing as being indexed using desktop indexing. I am sure we all have sites that are "mobile friendly" and also show that Google is indexing it using the desktop crawler, when they should be using the mobile crawler and this is why.
