Google Advertiser Verification Program To Accept DBAs

Google Ads has this advertiser verification program and now advertisers can use their DBAs ("doing business as") or trade names for that verification. Google said these names are accepted if the legal documents also state the names and in many legal documents, it does ask for DBAs to be listed.

Google Analytics 4 Subproperties Now Integrates With AdSense

Google announced additional integration support between Google Analytics 4 and AdSense. Google originally added integration in June 2023 between GA4 and AdSense but now "if you're using GA4 subproperties or roll-up properties, you can establish links between those properties and AdSense accounts independently from the source properties," Google said.

Hanukkah (aka Chanukah) starts this coming Thursday night, December 7th. Google has added its Hanukkah decorations to the Google Search results interface to celebrate. Google Again Says Schema Does Not Make Your Site Rank Better

Google once again said that adding schema or structured data markup to your pages will not result in those pages ranking better in Google Search. Danny Sullivan, the Google Search Liaison, said this on X, "using schema doesn't give you a ranking boost," adding, "Schema doesn't make you rank better." Google Ad Revenue Up 9.5% & Bing Ads Revenue Up 10%

Both Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising revenue were up big this past quarter, both up about 10%. Comparing it to last quarter, Google was only up 3% and Microsoft was up 8%. The previous quarters before that were much worse. So it seems like things are looking up on the ad revenue side.
